Design Thinking is the research and analysis course leading into the following semester's final degree project. We treat our air and water, but not our noise. Sonic Contamination studies the influences sound and noise have on our abilities to perceive and occupy space. My initial studies took me throughout St. Louis to record the city. Below is a sample of the research book and a collection of field recordings. This research is a work in progress.
